Turkish Rose Ice Cream

Turksih delight ice creamIf you want a really classy dessert that is super simple to make, then try this.  All you need is a tub of good quality ice-cream, some Turkish Delight, rose water, a rose bush and a bit of time for it to freeze.  Serve it with a dark chocolate sauce and fresh rose petals and that’s how easy it is.

1 litre good quality vanilla ice cream

6 Tbsp roughly torn rose petals (red or pink, and best if they have a scent)

2 Tbsp rose water

100g Turkish Delight chopped

 

Melt the ice cream slightly until it can be stirred with a spoon.

Add the rose water and rose petals and Turkish Delight and stir well

Return to the freezer and freeze until hard again.

Serve with chocolate sauce or grated dark chocolate
