Thyme Foot Salts

These foot salts are such a treat when  you have aching feet!   They will also deodorize and heal any fungal infections, such as Athlete’s foot.  Add 2 Tbsp to a bowl of warm water and soak for at last 10 minutes. Use daily if you have any infections, as often as you like for pleasure.

Small fabric bag with herb salts.  barefoot herbsIf you have stinky shoes pop a spoon of salts into a small fabric bag.  Small gift bags are the perfect size.  Leave the bag in for at least 24 hours, or get into the habit of keeping the bag in the shoes whenever you are not wearing them.

 

 

 

Thyme Foot Salts

Thyme is an anti-fungal and antiseptic herb, making it a great treatment for infections of the feet, including athlete's foot. The combination of thyme and peppermint is wonderful for healing, curing smelly feet and relieving aches and pains after a long day.

Materials

  • 2 Tbsp Dried thyme
  • 2 Tbsp Dried peppermint
  • 1 cup Epsom salts
  • 1/4 cup Bicarbonate of soda

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients and mix well
  • Pour into a glass container
  • Add 2 Tbsp to a foot bath of warm water
  • Soak for at least 10 minutes
