Rose & Oatmeal Face Mask

Roses are an excellent treatment for all skin types, and very beneficial for older skins.  Oats are softening and a gentle exfoliator, while yogurt reduces fine lines, moisturises and reduces pigmentation.  Use this face mask once a week for best results.

Rose and oats face pack2 Tbsp oatmeal or rolled oats

1 Tbsp rose petals, fresh and finely chopped

OR

1Tbsp rose petals, dried and crumbled

1-2 Tbsp natural yogurt

 

 

Combine the oats and rose petals in a bowl

Add the yogurt until it is a thick porridge texture.

Gently wash your face with warm water and pat dry.

Apply the paste, gently rubbing it in circular movements

Lie down and relax for 15 minutes

Remove the face-mask with a cloth or tissue (You don’t want this going down the sink as it will block the plug hole)

Rinse off any remaining mask with warm water.

Repeat once a week
