Makrut limes are a common hair treatment in Asian countries, and there are several commercially prepared products available there. It is really easy to make and definitely gives shine and a fabulous scent to the hair.
Ingredients
* 1 kg Makrut limes;
* 1 litre clean water;
Method
1. Wash fruit, slice into quarters;
2. Remove seed;
3. Add fruit and water to a stainless steel saucepan;
4. Bring to boil, then simmer until fruit are soft, approximately 1.5 to 2 hours;
5. Cool pulp, then squeeze through muslin.
6. Pour into sterilised glass jars
After shampooing, rinse and towel dry. Rub half a cup into the hair and comb through
