This is a delicious ice cream to make and it smells wonderful too. Served with a dark chocolate sauce it is a very decadent dessert.
1 litre good quality vanilla ice cream
6 Tbsp roughly torn rose petals (red or pink, and best if they have a scent)
2 Tbsp rose water
100g Turkish Delight chopped
Melt the ice cream slightly until it can be stirred with a spoon.
Add the rose water and rose petals and Turkish Delight and stir well
Return to the freezer and freeze until hard again.
Serve with chocolate sauce or grated dark chocolate
